Oasis Room
The Oasis Room in the Student Development and Success Center is officially open! We’ve brought natural colors and materials into the room for ultimate relaxation. The 4k massage chair is the ultimate in design and comfort. Includes arm and leg massage in addition to the usual back and neck massage.
Our tatami mat is natural seagrass which is laid upon a soft foam foundation so you have support and comfort as you relax, meditate, or sit and watch the kinetic wall art. In front of the tatami mat is an uji table that has a mini zen garden you can decorate or make drawings in the sand.
The Bluetooth speaker is available for you to connect your music to or you can use the sound machine to find a relaxing noise like water, wind, or noise-cancelling sounds.
We offer several light sources. The windows are covered by light-reducing thermal curtains. One corner features an RGB (red/green/blue) light that you can program what colors/sequence of lighting you like or you can turn it on and enjoy the automatic settings. A lamp by the massage chair provides the room with a soft glow, inducing a cozy atmosphere. The opposite side of the massage chair features a tall, adjustable light therapy lamp that safely provides an increase in mood.
We have coloring and activity books, origami book and papers, legos, and journaling cards for you to pass your time.
