Medical Services Overview

Beu Health Center is a full-service medical clinic offering quality outpatient health care to registered Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ students. The health center is staffed by a broad range of healthcare professionals who are specially trained in college health. All clinical staff are licensed or registered in the state of Illinois. Comprehensive, preventive, and primary care services are available by appointment. Board-certified MDs and certified nurse practitioners are available to provide a program of continuous, quality medical care.

  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute illness/ injury
  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute illness/ injuryDiagnosis of chronic illness with appropriate referral if necessary
  • Assistance of management of chronic illness
  • Preventive care: blood pressure checks, diabetes screening, cholesterol screening, and more
  • Immunizations/ allergy injections/ TB testing
  • General physicals- athletic, nursing program, classes, employment, ROTC
  • Minor surgical procedures: stitches and removal, mole removal, toenail removal, wart treatments, lesion destruction
  • Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
  • Men’s and women’s health needs
  • Mental health and psychiatric services
  • Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Radiology services on site
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs Resource Center (AODRC), DUI evaluation, counseling
