Downtown Block Party Welcomes Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Students and Community Sept. 12

MACOMB, IL - - Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is partnering with the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Macomb, Spoon River College and the Macomb School District to host the Downtown Block Party from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 in Chandler Park, just north of the Macomb Square.
The event will offer new and existing Ï㽶ÊÓƵ students the opportunity to learn more about the Macomb community and feature music by a DJ, games, a petting zoo, a chicken lip eating contest and more.
Ï㽶ÊÓƵ students, faculty or staff are invited to volunteer at the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ booth or to assist with working the event.
Go West may provide transportation to the Downtown Block Party. Passengers will need to get off at City Center, located at the Amtrak station, and walk across the street to Chandler Park.
